If God is good, why do we suffer?

Is there a purpose to our suffering?
Theologians, philosophers, and ordinary men and women have grappled with these questions for ages. The reason we struggle is that this is no mere theory, but we have all tasted the bitterness of suffering. I have zero interest in ivory tower, or arm chair theologians who seek to deal with the problem intellectually. Nor do I wish to tickle the fancy of some curious Gen Z with an interest in apologetics. As a pastor I want to help suffering people who have a genuine practical and theological battle with the problem of pain. A message by Ivor Jefferies.
