Psalm 23:5-6
Not only does the Good Shepherd lead us to green pastures and through dark valleys, but his mercy and goodness pursue us. In his faithful covenant love the Lord hunts us down to do us good. He longs for us to be with Him, therefore He leads us to his eternal kingdom. There, the Psalmist says elsewhere, "They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.
